Laparoscopic Services
we at elssy hospital; are committed to give you the best laparoscopic and minimal invasive surgeries at affordable prices.

laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (keyhole surgery): It is the most common and best treatment for gallbladder stone. During a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, numerous small incisions (cuts) are made in the abdomen. A laparoscope (a thin, flexible tube with a camera) and surgical instruments are inserted through these incisions. Your abdomen is then inflated with carbon dioxide gas to allow room for the surgeon to work with surgical tools. The laparoscope is used to visualize the gallbladder and nearby structures on a monitor. The gallbladder is detached from its attachments and the bile duct and blood vessels.

laparoscopic Appendectomy
This is considered an advanced procedure compared to the conventional method of appendix removal surgery. In this method, the surgeon makes two or three tiny incisions in your abdomen rather than a single large cut and inserts a laparoscope – a thin tube with a camera and light attached to it, which allows them to view the inside of your abdomen. The appendix is identified tied and closed using sutures which is later removed from the body.

laparoscopic hernia surgery
In laparoscopic hernia operations, the surgeon may take a totally extraperitoneal (TEP) or transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) approach. In TEP, the hernia is repaired from outside the wall without entering the peritoneal cavity. In the transabdominal approach, the surgeon enters the peritoneal cavity and places a mesh inside to reinforce the abdominal wall. Both these approaches are minimally invasive as only keyhole-sized incisions are created to access the hernia, and a laparoscope is used, which provides live, high-quality video feed of the internal organs. This technique has minimal complications and higher success rates than open hernia surgery.
